Socialcast – you've come a long way baby

It was just last September that we launched our new, upgraded version of Socialcast, and today, we’re excited to announce the release of our updated user interface and a set of cool new color themes.

Based on much research and user feedback, we’ve improved our interface to bring you more relevant content in a strikingly simple and clean layout. Some of our cool new features include:

• Use hashtags to add a question, idea or worklog. Just type #question, #idea or #worklog at the beginning of your post to automatically create whichever post you desire. And, adding a ‘?’ symbol into your post will automatically generate a question.
• Create categories with hashtags as well. Just type the # symbol in front of any word to make that word a tag.
• Just want to see status updates? Photos? Links? Now you have more filtering options right in your stream.
• Add more of your web feeds like Twitter, Facebook, Flickr from your stream.
• Find new colleagues and see who else is using your site in the new “People” section.
