Introducing Custom Thanks
A short while back we introduced Thanks to give companies an easy way to provide real-time employee recognition while increasing engagement and peer-to-peer interaction in their social stream.
Thanks proved to be so valuable for our customers that we’ve taken it a step further – today we’re introducing custom Thanks. Now customers can create icons that best reflect the individual aspects of their culture, recognize employees and provide instant feedback in a way that’s uniquely their own.
With Thanks by Socialcast, you can:
- Send Thanks by selecting from a custom library of badges where Thanks are created and made available by the company.
- Anyone designated as a Thanks administrator can enable custom Thanks badges
- Upload company images and logos to create unique badges for individual companies and departments
In addition to customizing the individual badges, Socialcast Thanks seamlessly integrates recognition across the entire application porfolio by utilizing Socialcast Reach, extending Thanks across Sharepoint, CRM, ERP, PLM, Intranets, Wikis and other existing business systems. By using a fully customizable platform like Socialcast, customers can create social interaction across their enterprise apps.
Using the customizations, customers can easily brand and promote what’s important to management and reinforce core values of the company. Socialcast customers can enable custom Thanks in their dashboard today. iPad App :
1. Seems like you can’t attach docs from iPad app to you posts.
What advice is there on when to create a stream rather than a group and vice versa. What is the benefit of one over the other etc…
Where can I find out more about the pros & cons etc.
Thanks
Hi Rudy,
A custom stream is a great way to monitor certain people or hashtags, while groups are a great way to collaborate with a group of people.
